ABOUT KATIE PARKER

Katie Parker is an illustrator and comic artist who uses her imagination and skill to translate stories to images. Parker is a Richmond based artist who  graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a major in Communication Arts and a minor in Creative Writing. In her work, she explores the responsibility of being an illustrator by bringing to light narratives not often portrayed- such as mental health themes. In this world full of automation, Parker is willing to adapt, explore, and humanize art to represent impactful stories.
